NEDA Awareness Week Recap

In case you weren’t aware, ViR has been sharing daily posts in honor of NEDA Awareness week!! I have been so humbled and grateful for those sharing their voices, stories and experiences. I wanted to share all posts here in case people missed any!

Thank you all so much for being a part of this community and supporting all the guest writers this week!

ViR is also looking for guest writers, whether for a single post, or as a permanent writer! I want to grow ViR, and make it honor the mission statement when I first started this movement. ViR isn’t just about me and my story, or advocacy and research, it is about sharing voices of not only those who have recovered, but who are in recovery, as well as the people around them! Please email me and we can discuss details! Voiceinrecovery (at) gmail (dot) com.

A sample of topics I welcome to include on ViR (this is just a sample! I am absolutely open to other topics!):

  • Eating Disorders
  • Addiction
  • Mental Health / Mental Illness
  • Body Image
  • Self Harm
  • Self Love
  • Self Acceptance
  • Poetry
  • Art
  • Music
  • Healthy habits
  • Research
  • Treatment
  • Living Authentically
  • Journey through life
  • Mentorship/Sponsorship
